The Birth of Jaiden (Kindle edition) by Jennifer Malone Wright

Great Vampire saga!
There has been a lot of negativity from the Christian sector regarding paranormal books.  Some of the concern I understand, but I won’t get into that.  It’s an old argument.  However, Jennifer Malone Wright has managed to do something I’ve often thought about.  That is, mix Vampire myth with belief in God.  Works of fiction allow for the ‘what if’ factor.  That said, what if Vampire’s were real?  Would God love them?
Since the bible clearly says God loves everyone I believe the answer would be yes.  (Another long debate I won’t get into at the moment.)
In the Birth of Jaiden, Jennifer Malone Wright has taken the paranormal teens, and some adults, crave and gently point the reader to God for strength and wisdom.
Alexander Lucas, a one-hundred year old vampire has a deep relationship with God.  He believes, because he is a Vampire, not by choice, he will probably burn in hell if he’s ever ‘killed’ and yet, hangs onto hope that a loving God will still hear his prayers.  He, Alex, asks to have purpose in life.  He’s lead to a child who’d been thrown away, discarded by a parent as though she has no worth.  He’s charged with the task of keeping the child safe from those who would destroy her.  (You have to read the book to find out why the Malcolm, the bad guy, wants to have her.)
The book has vampires, witches, angels, slayers and more.  It’s a great read, and if you have an open mind you just might discover you can have faith in God they way Alex does.  (Please understand, this is not a Christian book.  It is not preachy, thank you!)
